Dear Valley Dance Families,
Due to the closure of Pennsylvania schools, Valley Dance will be closing from March 16th-29th. As a precaution to do our best to keep our dancers, families and community safe, we are making the difficult decision to close the studio effective Monday, March 16th- Sunday, March 29th. Our current plan is to reopen on Monday, March 30th. Our Spring Break that was originally scheduled for April 11th-19th will be moved to next week. We also were fortunate enough to have an easy winter, which means the 2 snow days per class that we had built into the schedule were barely used. Monday night classes have 1 ‘snow day’ left and our Tuesday and Thursday classes both have 2 ‘snow days’ left. In the case that we have to stay closed for longer than those 2 weeks, makeup classes will be scheduled (but let’s keep our fingers crossed that doesn’t happen). Grandparents Observation Week, as well as Wacky Sock Week will both be rescheduled for once things settle down. I will be sending a separate email out to our Iron Pig dancers regarding that performance. Our current session of Adult Dance Classes will also be extended to makeup for the missed weeks. Miss Maria will be working on some tips to keep our dancers active during their time off. We will email these out to you as we get to them. To get you started, below is a Dance Bingo Game. Dancers can complete up to two squares per day! Go for Bingo or Black Out! Once we get back to classes, dancers can turn in their completed card for a prize! Share your Bingo Card progress on Facebook or Instagram by tagging @valleydancepa. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this difficult decision. If you have any questions or concerns during this time, please email us. Thank you, Maria Rodrigues Owner/Artistic Director- Valley Dance www.valley-dance.com director@valley-dance.com
